Brown Act violation, McK Skate Park and a town that once was

There’s an article in the Jan. 4, 2012 edition of the McKinleyville Press that demonstrates the need for members of the Northern Humboldt Union High School District Board of Trustees to undergo training in the basics of the Brown Act, the state law governing open meetings for local boards and commissions.

Pick up the coming issue to read about the board’s secret meeting, during which it discussed an important issue.
