Wet, chilly weekend

Looks like a wet, chilly weekend.

Raw from the NWS:

.SYNOPSIS…FAIR WEATHER WILL CONTINUE TODAY BEFORE A STORM SYSTEM
IMPACTS THE REGION THIS WEEKEND. THIS STORM WILL BRING BELOW
NORMAL TEMPERATURES…MODERATE RAIN AND MOUNTAIN SNOW ALONG WITH
A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS SUNDAY. THE WET PATTERN CONTINUES
THROUGH MID WEEK AS WESTERLY UPPER LEVEL FLOW PERSISTS.
&&

.DISCUSSION…WV IMAGERY SHOWS UPPER LEVEL LOW CENTERED APPROX
50N/138W THIS MORNING. MODELS REMAIN IN GOOD AGREEMENT IN
BRINGING THIS UNSEASONABLY STRONG UPPER TROUGH ACROSS THE CWA BY
SUN. FAIR WX WILL CONTINUE TODAY WITH MID AND HI CLOUDS INCREASING
ACROSS THE REGION. PRECIP CHCS WILL INCREASE THROUGH THE DAY SAT
AS THE UPPER LOW APPROACHES FROM THE NW. UNSEASONABLY COLD AIR
WITH THIS STORM WILL RESULT IN SNOW LEVELS DROPPING TO 3500-4000FT
LATE SAT/EARLY SUN. LAPSE RATES WILL STEEPEN QUICKLY AS UPPER LOW
TRACKS ACROSS CWA SUN SUPPORTING ISOLD TSTMS AND THE POTENTIAL FOR
SMALL HAIL. PRECIP CHCS DIMINISH MON AS UPPER LOW PUSHES
NE…HOWEVER…PROGRESSIVE PATTERN WITH NW FLOW ALOFT WILL
MAINTAIN PRECIP CHCS THROUGH MID WEEK.
