Board to Meet Wednesday with Human Rights Commission
EUREKA – A subcommittee of the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors will meet with the representatives of the Human Rights Commission on Wednesday, Feb. 13 at 10 a.m. to discuss revising, replacing or rescinding Ordinance 2488, regarding use of the County Courthouse grounds by the public.
Supervisors Rex Bohn and Mark Lovelace were tasked by the Board to meet with members of the Human Rights Commission to get their input regarding any possible changes to the ordinance. The meeting will be held at the County Courthouse conference room on the 5th floor. The agenda for this meeting will be posted by Friday.
Thanks McKinleyville Press. Glad to hear they sorted it out. Last information I received was that they might not be able to schedule it for the 13th.
There is some very good language that was handed out at the last meeting to affirm our rights. I wonder if this language will be discussed. IDid you get a copy of the agenda?
I’ll be in Eureka so will be able to pick up a copy of the agenda. For the first meeting I requested and received a copy from Clerk of the Board Kathy Hayes. Her email is KHayes@co.humboldt.ca.us
