Two men wearing masks robbed a McKinleyville gas station at gunpoint Monday morning, Dec. 3 and got away with an undisclosed amount of money.
At about 7 a.m., the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office was notified of an armed robbery which just occurred at the 76 Gas Station at the corner of Central Avenue and Hiller Road.
When deputies arrived they met with the male employee. The victim told deputies he was alone in the gas station when two males entered via an unlocked rear door.
The males were wearing black masks and gloves. One of the males had a dark colored handgun which he pointed at the victim and immediately ordered him to give them all the money from the safe.
After the victim gave the suspects the money, he was ordered to lie on the floor. The employee was not injured during the robbery.
The suspects are described as follows:
Suspect No. 1 – White male adult, 6’1 to 6’2”tall, thin build, black hoodie sweatshirt, black mask, black gloves armed with dark colored handgun
Suspect No. 2- male, thin build, 5’ 8” to 5’ 10” tall wearing a grey or white hoodie, dark mask.
Seriously. To question the employee’s integrity is just rude, mean and wrong. Maybe get a life Mr Henchman. Your idea of justice is perverted. Let the investigation proceed unbiased and leave the $8.oo and hour employee alone.
