The public is invited to attend a workshop that will include a presentation of the McKinleyville Community Services District’s (MCSD) consideration of the water and sewer rate analysis. The workshop will be held from 6 p.m. to to 9 p.m on Thursday, Feb. 16, at Azalea Hall, 1620 Pickett Road, in McKinleyville.
The workshop will cover the district’s intent to consider adjustment to the water and sewer rates and any necessary revenue adjustments to adequately fund operations, maintenance, as well as present and future capital costs.
At the Feb. 1 meeting, the MCSD Board was presented with a variety of financial and rate scenarios to better inform the District of possible outcomes.
If you bring a current water bill, we will be able to project what your future bill might look like.
Pierce Rossum, from Willdan Financial Services, assisted in the preparation of the water and sewer rate evaluation and will attend the workshop to help facilitate the discussion and address stakeholder questions and any uncertainty.
