Planning Commission meeting cancelled

The Wednesday, Feb. 24 meeting of the Humboldt County Planning Commission is cancelled. Instead, you can stay home and watch Survivor, which has some similarities to a Planning Commission meeting, but is less brutal.

Dude, Where’s My Boat?

Just in from the Sheriff’s Office:

The Humboldt County Sheriff’s office is asking for assistance from the public regarding an abandoned boat. The 25-foot Sea Ray cabin cruiser was left at the Fields Landing boat ramp February 13, 2011. The boat is light blue and white and has an inboard/outboard motor. Anybody who recognizes the boat should call Deputy Roy Reynolds at (707) 268-2537.
